Valtteri Filppula had the cast removed from his wrist on Monday and is on schedule to return by the end of the month. Good, good news. Maybe his return will help Leino get it together. I'll be happy to see VF again--I miss my Baby Boy. ;)
Now your foot needs to get better! The previous post made me cringe in pain. I really miss Flipper (I call him Flip or Flipper most of the time because I have real trouble trying to pronounce his last name. I end up saying Fippula, like how I used to say Caculator instead of Calculator as a kid). His return would be a nice Christmas gift (or New Year's gift).
Finnish words/names definitely ARE difficult for non-Finns. I cringe at times when I hear how badly people mangle them. ;) (100% Finn here--and grew up listening to my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc, speak the language, so it's second nature for me.)
