Boredom

The only reason for this post is to make sure Blogger doesn't cancel my account for lack of updates.  Talk about a boring stretch for hockey!  I'm sick to death of hearing about Modano and Kovalchuk--and Zetterberg is honeymooning somewhere in Tahiti.  (Is Tahiti actually big enough to have a 'somewhere in Tahiti' reference?)  So, there is not much going on and I am beginning to suffer from hockey withdrawal.  Can't time move faster, please?

Really?

So, Modano has said he won't make up his mind about where--or whether--he will be playing next season until after 5 August.  Another (almost) three more weeks.  Are you fricking kidding me? It took me less time to decide to get pregnant for each of my kids than this guy is taking to decide if he still wants to play a game.  And now we are creeping into Brett Favre territory.  It is time to shit or get off the pot--right now.  I certainly hope his decision is to go elsewhere.

It's Time...

I was so sure that the Mike Modano story would have been over with by the end of last week.  Obviously, that is NOT the case.  But, I think it is about time for SOMEONE to put an end to all of this--whether it is Modano or the Red Wing organization.  Time for everyone to move forward...in whatever direction that may be.

Modano A Wing?

I think we can stamp this 'done and done.'  For several years, I have had the feeling that Modano will play in Detroit at some time--and the time is now.  I have no inside info or anything other than my feelings--and a woman's intuition is very powerful.  ;)

*And if I'm wrong, we can look on this as just another example of me not knowing what the hell I'm talking about.  :D
